12-17 Year Old’s Now Eligible for Vaccine

Peguis Public Health is happy to announce the upcoming immunization clinics for 12-17 year old’s youth residing in Peguis First Nation, Dallas, Harwill and Red Rose. Health Canada has approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for those 12 years of age or older. It is important to receive the vaccine to ensure our community is protected.
Off-reserve youth aged 12-17 can book their appointments at Manitoba vaccine sites online at https://protectmb.ca/, or by calling (toll-free) 1-844-626-8222 (1-844-MAN-VACC).
Every youth in Peguis that receives a vaccine will also be entered into the Youth Vaccine Draws featuring great prizes including a 42” LED TV, Apple iPad, gift cards, pre-paid visa’s plus much more!
Tentative Dates: MAY 31 – JUNE 4, 2021
Criteria: 12-17 year old’s individuals residing in Peguis First Nation, Dallas, Harwill and Red Rose
Location: Peguis Multiplex
Hours: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, Appointment necessary, please call (204) 645-2169 to book. Consent form is required, this will be completed with parent(s) when booking appointment.
