On Thursday, November 29, 2012 Jerome Berthelette, Assistant Auditor General, paid a visit to Peguis First Nation for presentations on Flood, Education, Emergency Response Plan, Health, and Aboriginal Policing. Presentations were followed by a community tour.
Chief Glenn Hudson was pleased to inform Jerome Berthelette that past audit results were published to community members through the Peguis New Horizon.
Jerome Berthelette was appointed as an Assistant Auditor General in 2009.
Before joining the Office, Mr. Berthelette worked with Health Canada in the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch. He was also Secretary to the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples, and the Executive Director of the National Association of Friendship Centres.
