COVID-19 Income Assistance Benefit
Peguis First Nation is pleased to announce that due to the stresses and challenges of the COVID 19 pandemic, Income Assistance clients will be eligible to receive financial aid to help with the costs of essential living expenses. The benefit will be for the months of April, May and June 2020. (3 months)
The benefit will be distributed as follows:
- All IA clients who were on Income Assistance in Peguis First Nation in April, May or June of 2020 will be eligible for benefit.
- All IA Families with more than 3 children, will be eligible for $300.00 per month (April-June 2020)
- All IA Families with 1-2 children will be eligible for $200.00 per month (April-June 2020).
- All IA Single individuals will be eligible for $100.00 per month (April-June 2020), unless they live in their own unit, they will receive the $300.00 per month.
Note- Clients will be eligible for the in May 2020; they will receive for May and June (2 months).
The distribution date will be September 1, 2020.
