COVID-19 Restrictions to Continue to May 18, 2020


On April 29, 2020, the Manitoba Government announced the plan to reopen Manitoba and to begin lifting restrictions. Beginning May 4, 2020, the multi-phase plan will begin to open some businesses and increase recreation opportunities, including non-essential healthcare and retail businesses.

Leadership from Peguis First Nation, Fisher River Cree Nation, Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation, Dallas, Red Rose and Harwill have collectively agreed to extend COVID-19 restrictions to May 18, 2020. Restrictions will then be re-evaluated depending on COVID-19 cases.

COVID-19 Restrictions:

-State of Emergency
-Check Point Restrictions
-Travel Ban (Winnipeg, Selkirk, Dauphin, Brandon, Portage la Prairie and cities along Highway #1)
-Curfew at Check Points: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am Daily
-Limit of Gathering of 10 or more

Essential Service providers will continue to have check point access.
