Boohzoo, the Peguis COVID-19 Pandemic Team is working together with Chief & Council on the Peguis COVID-19 Pandemic Plan to protect the community. We do have a plan for our community that will help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We NEED EVERYONE to support this plan and UNDERSTAND this important information to help protect all of our families. The Peguis Community Bulletin will continue to be issued as information changes. Curfew: 10:00pm–6:00am Daily, all check point access will be closed during curfew

Open Check Point Locations:
1) Highway 325/224
2) Mi-Ki-Nak Road
3) Ashern Road

Who is Allowed to Enter:
– Band members residing on reserve
– Those members that live on the community South boundaries (Hodgson, Fisher Branch, etc.)
– Essential Workers
– Essential Suppliers/ Deliveries
– Emergency personnel
– Essential medical appointments/ surgeries
– Essential Hunters

Who is Restricted from Entering:
– Members Residing Off-Reserves
– Visitors to Communities- Non-Essential Workers
– Non-Essential Suppliers
– NO Cottage/Fishing Access

When Entering/Exiting
– You will be screened/questioned
– Those returning to the community from restricted areas must self-isolate for 14 days
– You will be asked to provide shopping receipts

Drive Careful, be respectful with workers and be patient as there may be a wait period. For access arrangements, please call the 24/7 Peguis COVID-19 Hotline at (204) 645-2869 or (204) 645-4738. If you experience fever, cough, shortness of breath or have symptoms of a respiratory illness (regardless of travel), even if mild, stay home until your symptoms are gone. Members that are experiencing symptoms are asked to stay home and contact the Peguis Health Centre at (204) 645-2169.
