Peguis Development Corporation is seeking the following Employment Opportunities for FINANCE OFFICERS

2-Winnipeg Office (Full-Time)

Purpose of the Positions

The Finance Officer will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations for the Peguis Development Corporation and its subsidiaries. The Finance Officer comply with Government Regulations, General Accepted Accounting Principles and PDC financial policies and procedures.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Finance Officer will report to the Financial Manager and will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures and preparing and monitoring the A/P, A/R system. These services must be provided in an effective and efficient manner that will ensure that the finances are accurate and up to date, that staff are paid in a timely and appropriate manner and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits.

Perform the day to day processing of financial transactions, excellent filing skills, daily purchase orders, to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner and include financial project management capabilities.

Provide Administrative and financial services support for PDC and its Subsidiary companies. Must have excellent computer, excel spreadsheet, accounting knowledge and communication skills will be an asset.

Perform all other related financial duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in ACCPAC, Accounting or Finance certificate
• 3 to 5 years experience in Finance
• Must provide Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse Registry check
