Job Title: Office Clerk
Department: Social Development
Location: IRTC Sub-Office Headingley, MB
Salary: Depending on Experience


Reporting to the Social Development Advisor, the Social Development Office Clerk with be responsible for the following duties:

  • Answering phones, filing, faxing, mailing, copying, binding, scanning
  • Assisting in coordinating meetings, conferences, and other sessions
  • Recording and transcribing meeting minutes
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Maintain office supply inventory and place orders when needed
  • Assisting Social Development team with other various administrative tasks as assigned
  • Cover the reception desk when required


  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Proven admin or assistant experience
  • Filing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to record and transcribe meeting minutes
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • References proving past history of working with highly confidential records
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software programs (Excel, Word) and using intermediate features associated with virtual meeting tools – Microsoft Teams / ZOOM.
  • Valid Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License and own vehicle are required.
