The Peguis Income Assistant Department (I.A.) would like to make clients aware of rates changes recently announced.
- All I.A. disability clients will receive an additional $25 each month, effective November 2022.
- Rate Increase for Economic Category – Singles and Childless Couples. EIA general assistance clients without dependent children will receive an (1) extra $50 per adult each month, effective November 2022.
Rate changes take effect on February 1, 2023 at the next I.A. distribution.
Retro payments for applicable clients will be distributed on February 1, 2023 to cheque holders.
