Residents are reminded that a Burn Ban is in effect for Peguis First Nation. Due to the current dry conditions, members are reminded:
- No fires allowed on Peguis First Nation 1B lands until further notice
- Fines/and or charges will be laid for any illegal fire, with a minimum fine of $1,000.00
- Damages and costs caused by illegal fires will be the responsibility of the individual(s) caught that started the fire in question
