Today, Peguis First Nation celebrated the 100th anniversary of the St.Peter’s Anglican Church. Celebrations included a Prayer Gathering with Lay Reader’s Doreen McPherson, Joan Hudson, and Jackie Flett, remarks by Chief Glenn Hudson, and hymns. Members brought historical items for display, along with old photos for everyone to enjoy.
A potluck lunch was provided for those attending with a slideshow of the 1970’s.
The day also held a Consecration of the new Cemetery by Bishop Geoff Woodcroft.
