A historic day for Peguis First Nation as the first Moderna Vaccines are delivered residents of the Peguis Senior Centre.
Peguis Public Health received 250 doses of the Moderna vaccine last week from Manitoba’s Vaccine Task Force. This is the first shipment of the Moderna Vaccine Peguis First Nation is receiving, with more to come. The Vaccine Task Force decided priority will be given to Personal Care Home residents and staff, and those aged 70+.
Vaccine appointments will begin starting today. Peguis First Nation will be utilizing our Multiplex site for vaccine administration. Members that are 70 years old or older can call the Peguis Public Health Centre at (204) 645-2169 and speak with Chantel Settee to schedule an appointment.
